<p>Evaporating system for LPG storage tanks, works independently of vapour press. esp. at low ambient temps. i.e. -0.5 degrees C, esp. using C4H10. A cylindrical liq. container housed within the evaporator vessel, is connected via a three-way valve operated by liq. level in the evaporator either to the vapour space of the storage tank or to the vapour space of the evaporator vessel. Acuation of the three-way valve is by magnetic float within the evaporator vessel which operates external reed-switches and relays, thus replenishing the vapour space above the liquid level in the evaporator vessel this occurring indepedantly of the vapour press. in the storage tank. In practice this means C4H10 stocks can be used, irrespective of winter conditions as well as C3H8 to which LPG storage operators could previously have been restricted.</p> |
