PURPOSE:To improve the workability by connecting electronic controllers having different communication systems to the same communication bus, and providing an external connecting connector connected to a vehicle diagnostic device on the communication bus. CONSTITUTION:Electronic controllers 501, 502, 503 and 504 having each different communication system are loaded on a vehicle 500, and a vehicle diagnostic device 25 is connected to the electronic controllers 501, 502, 503 and 504, by which a fault is diagnosed. On the vehicle diagnostic device 25, communication means corresponding to communication systems of the electronic controllers 501, 502, 503 and 504 are provided. The electronic controllers 501, 502, 503 and 504 are connected to the same communication bus and connected to the vehicle diagnostic device 25 by an external connecting connector 24. In such a manner, the workability is improved and the diagnosis can be executed surely in a short time. |
