<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the supply of forms from a manual insertion tray and to improve the operability by feeding paper from the manual insertion tray preferentially to the feeding of paper from a paper feeding cassette. CONSTITUTION:It is checked whether a form detector 26 provided at the bottom part of the manual insertion tray 13 detects a form P and when the form is detected, a conveying roller 29a is driven to guide the form P which is supplied from the manual insertion tray 13 to an image transfer part 23. Namely, when the form detector 26 detects the form P being supplied from the manual insertion tray 13, the supply of a form P from the paper feeding cassette 25 is quitted and the form P from the manual insertion tray 13 is supplied automatically and preferentially. Consequently, when the form P is supplied manually, the need for specifying operation on a console panel is eliminated and the operation for manual printing is facilitated to improve the operability.</p> |
