A catamaran comprises two sections 1a, 1b and 2a, 2b formed in such a way that a first 2a of the two stern sections 1a; 2a may be nested in the second stern section 1a and a first 1b of the two stem sections 1b; 2b can be nested in the second stem section 2b, the two stem sections 1b; 2b thus nested together being nestable in the inner 2a of the two nested stern sections. Preferably, the second shorter stern hull section 2a is nestable in the longer stern hull section 1a when turned end for end. The two sections of each hull 1; 2 may be interconnected by means of a dovetail joint with male and female members 3 and 4. The adjacent inboard gunwales of the two hulls may form a support for a longitudinal seat, which is lower than the outboard gunwales of the hulls and may be provided with a buoyancy float at its underside. <IMAGE> |
