PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of copying synthesizing accuracy due to original dislocation by providing a means to eject the registration of the editing area data of the original and/or a means of prohibit the start of a copying operation when the original position placed on the tablet is improper. CONSTITUTION:The original position of an original tablet 1 is detected by original detecting sensors 3a, 3b, 4a and 4b, when the original positioning is improper, the defect of original setting is displaced. In such a case, the means to eject the registration of the editing area data of the original and/or the means to prohibit the start of the copying operation when the original position is improper are provided. Thus, inconvenience such as omission occurring at the time of a simple alarm is eliminated, and the re-designation of the editing area on the original can be urged. |
