1374443 Shelving ARTEMIDE INTER SA 2 Nov 1971 [20 April 1971] 50961/71 Heading A4B [Also in Division F2] A shelving structure comprises shelves 3a extending between uprights 3b, the shelves 3a and uprights 3b comprising panels of substantially constant cross-section, each panel having a plurality of longitudinally extending channels 4a-6a and 4b-6b including at least on one broader face a pair of parallel, re-entrant grooves 4a, 4b adjacent respective edges of the panel, and each shelf being secured to the uprights by L-shaped brackets 7 having respective limbs engaged and secured in contiguous channels of an upright and shelf. As shown, the limbs 10b of a pair of brackets 7 engaged in a groove 4bof an upright are secured by self-tapping screws 15 which spread apart the limbs 10b from a straight bracket 8 also engaged in the groove 4b to clamp against the walls of the groove. The other limbs 10a of the brackets 7 are engaged in a channel 6a of a shelf and are spread apart by a screw 15 to clamp against the channel walls. Alternatively the limbs 10a may engage in a shelf groove 4a. |
