<p>Thermoplastics tubing used in mfr. of hollow, flat, elements by glueing tubular sections together in parallel relationship, has a cross-section such that, when viewed from the outside, it has one convex and one concave zone for adhesive bonding to an adjacent tubing. The radii of these glueing zones differ from each other so that the tubings bear fully against one another only when pre-tensioned. The wall thicknesses of the tubular sections are in some regions thickner than in other regions, such thickness variations being gradual. The prods. are stated to be suitable for use in mfr. of flat panels by controlled arrangement and compression.</p> |
