Pneumatic post type conveyor system has a pipe in which a piston type part is moved to and fro by a pneumatic pressure medium between a starting position and a pre-determined intermediate and/or end positions. A carriage (21) is guided moveing to and fro on the outer circumference of a pipe (12) made from non-magnetic material. Both the piston type part (13) and the carriage (21) are fitted with interior or exterior magnets (17, 27) which produce a coupled movement of the two movable parts. The magnets are guided without making contact with the pipe wall.
