PURPOSE:To improve sterilization efficiency and to facilitate maintenance and inspection, in a fluid sterilizing apparatus using a silver ion in a medical treatment field, by forming a sterilizing part by filling the same with a large number of spheres subjected to silver plating treatment. CONSTITUTION:A disc-shaped front mesh 7 is provided in the container 1 in the vicinity of a front cap 3 so as to be freely slidable along the inner surface of a cylindrical body 2 through a spring 13 and a disc-shaped front mesh backup 8 is provided to the outside surface of said mesh 7. A disc-shaped rear mesh 9 is fixed in the container 1 in the vicinity of a rear cap 4 and a disc-shaped rear mesh backup 10 is provided to the outside surface of said mesh 9. The space between both meshes 7, 9 is filled with a large number of spheres 11 having a diameter of 5mm to which silver plating treatment is applied to form a sterilizing part 12. A fluid flows in the container 1 through a fluid supply pipe 5 and further flows in the sterilizing part 12 through a fluid expansion part 14, the front mesh backup 8 and the front mesh 7 and is brought into contact with a large number of spheres 11 uniformly to be sterilized efficiently. |
