Viewing aid enables outside scenes to be viewed from inside an enclosed or partially open space, e.g. a vehicle. Fibre optic cables are used, as in endoscopy, to link the outside with the inside. Pref. the outer end of the cables is movable to scan scenes e.G. with control by movement of the observer's head.
