<p>Anti-slip device for vehicle tyres comprises 2 plates at each of which arms are fastened which surround the tyre and are connected and clamped together by means of gripping arrangement. Each plate (7, 8) has 2 protruding guide pins (6, 9). A take-up plate (3) wityd guide slots (5) receiving the guide pins is provided by means of which both plates (7, 8) are connected. The arams (10) are radially displaceable and bear with hooks (17) against curved clamps (4) of the take-up plate (3) so that they are radially gripped by rotation of the take-up plate. The arms (10) are fastened to the plates (7, 8) so that they can be rotated in their main direction. They are arranged in guide bushings (11) and the hooks pass through slots in these bushings to enable the arms axially to be moved out of the bushings so that the hooks (17) are disengaged thereby allowing the arms to be rotated. The curved clamps (4) are dimensioned so that th arms, when engaged, are radially inwards displaceable. The arms have chains (13) with tensioners (12) fastened to them. The tensioners enable their associated chains to be tensioned by the length of at least 1 chain link.</p> |
