<p>PURPOSE:To realize a highly precise input processing by detecting the coordinate of an input point from the ratio of the transmission time of vibration to be transmitted from a vibrator to the vibration sensor of a vibration transmission plate and the transmission time from the vibrator to the vibration sensor of a coordinate input member. CONSTITUTION:The vibrator a (5) generates the vibration, and the vibration is transmitted to the vibration transmission plate 7, and reaches the sensor b (4) through a pen point 3, and is converted into an electric signal, and its detection signal is held in a latch circuit b (13). Besides, this vibration arrives at the vibration sensor a (1) fixed to the transmission plate 7, and is held in the latch circuit a (12). Distance from the vibrator a (5) to the indicating point of a pen 2 is obtained from transmission delay time at the sensors a (1) and b (4). Similarly, the distance from the vibrator b (6) to the indicating point of the pen 2 is measured. Thus, the distances from the vibrators a (5), b (6) to the pen 2 are found, and the coordinate values obtained by geometrical calculation of X, Y coordinates are sent to an information processor. Thus, the highly precise coordinate input processing can be realized.</p> |
