The rescue equipment is mounted in a self-contained unit to drop onto the back of a small flatbed road vehicle to convert it for rescue use. The unit has a support frame holding pull out equipment drawers as well as having electrical and hydraulic connections to the vehicle. The rear of the unit has a control and instrument panel as well as water pumps and hydraulic resuce equipment. The vehicle can be used in a variety of emergency uses after a rapid conversion.
