Antibacteril, tissue compatible injection solution of pH 4.6-5.8 ( The known solutions had pH7) contained sulfamethoxazol (I) as sulfonamide, trimetoprim (II) as sulfonamide poteniatr. citric acid (III), propylene glycol (IV), polyethylene glycol(V), ethylalcohol (VI), and H2O(VII). A representative formulation contained I 8.0g, II 1.6g, III 1.2g, IV 40.4ml. V 30.0ml, VI (USP. 95%) 13ml and VII 17.0ml.
