The flushing device has a casing (1), for flush mounting, which comprises, in the lower part, a suction siphon (8) and, in the upper part, a flushing fitting (14). The latter is connected to a water-supply pipe (12) which passes through horizontally. On its side walls (1c), the casing has eyes (6 and 7) which are used for fastening the casing in the wall and for connecting the urinal on the casing. This design facilitates initial mounting of the flushing device and also permits, in a simple manner, inspection work, since the entire flushing device is easily accessible after the urinal has been removed. <IMAGE>
