The traffic system for short-distance public passenger transport, uses steered road vehicles with a steered and a non-steered axle and cross-guiding rollers, and tracks with crossguiding stem pieces working in conjunction with them. In the vicinity of curves, the rolling surface on the track (1) is divided into a series of individual bearer segments (12) extending over its width, movable across the track towards the outside of the curve, and braced by defined transverse force against stops (17) towards the inside. These immediately adjoin one another. This enables vehicle with width appropriate to those steerable on all axles to run on curves slipping sideways.
|
