Slider guide for disc brake floating saddle - has guide bracket and saddle removed as unit for pad change

The slider guide is used in the floating saddle of a disc brake. The saddle is readily detached from the brake support for quick brake pad change. - Only one guide bracket (7) is used which encloses a saddle (2) on its circumference. This guide bracket has projecting lugs (71, 72, 73, 74) which engage with the sliding parts (10, 11) of the saddle. The saddle and bracket are readily pivoted as unit about one bolt (9) when the second bolt (8) is released. Hence the pads are readily accessible for removing in axial direction.
