Control circuit for two DC traction circuits - has switching controls for regenerative braking and smoothing capacitors

The control circuit links a variable DC circuit with a regulated DC circuit to power the traction control within the specified tolerances. The input tappings for the circuits are switched between drive and regenerative braking while smoothing capacitors and inverters ensure smooth coupling between the circuits. Free running diodes are connected across the inverters as well as smoothing inductances.
