<p>The sheet comprises (A) a relatively thich core layer of transparent dielectric plastics (pref. polyester or polycarbonate film), between (B) a relatively thin image support layer of dielectric material (pref. a film of polyethylene, polystyrene, vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer or adhesive polyester) and (c) a conductive antistatic layer (e.g. polyethylene impregnated with C, or conductive paper). Prod. has (i) sufficient reactivity to prevent diffusion of charge (which can blur image), (ii) good charge transfer with the electrode on which it is placed, (iii) strong bond with toner, (iv) good rigidity and (v) good transparency.</p> |
