摘要 <p>1475236 Water-repellant treatment of fibrous materials CHEMISCHE FABRIK PFERSEE GmbH 7 March 1975 [9 March 1974 13 Dec 1974] 9628/75 Heading DIP [Also in Division C3] Fibrous materials, especially cellulosic fabrics, may be rendered water-repellant and given improved handle by treatment with emulsions or solutions of nitrogen-containing organopolysiloxanes obtained by adding to an organopolysiloxane having SiH groups in proportions giving one H atom per 6-16 Si atoms an ethylenically unsaturated nitrogen compound which is (A) allyl melamine, which may have another C 3 alkenyl or a C 1-10 alkyl on the same N atom, (B) an allyl guanamine, in which the acid residue is H, C 1-6 alkyl or cycloalkyl, Ph, Vi or benzyl, there may be another C 3 alkenyl group on the allyl N atom and a C 1-4 alkyl phenyl or benzyl group on the other, or (C) a mono- or di-allyl urea or thiourea, said unsaturated nitrogen compound being at least partly methylolated and/or there also being present a further aminoplast-forming compound having methylol groups, all methylol groups being optionally C 1-4 alkylated and the quantities used providing 0.25-1.0 unsaturated groups per Si-bound H atom. In Examples 1-10 polysiloxanes containing units Me 2 SiO and MeHSiO in 12:1, 10:1 or 6:1 ratio or units Et 2 SiO and MeHSiO in 12:1 ratio (Ex 5 only) are heated at 170-190‹C in the presence of H 2 PtCl 6 with amounts giving ca. 0.7-1 ethylenic bonds per Si-bound H atom of: diallyl tetramethoxymethyl melamine and hexamethoxy methyl melamine or methylated dimethylol ethyleneurea; methylated methylolated monoallyl or N, N-diallyl urea and methylated methylolated dicyandiamide; methylolated N, N-diallyl acetoguanamine and methylated dimethylol ethyleneurea; tetramethoxymethyl N-allyl-N-octyl- or butyl-melamine or N-allyl guanamine or N-allyl-N'-ethyl-acetoguanamine or N-allyl-N'-hydroxyethyl-thiourea, all methylolated and methylated or unmodified N, N-diallylmelamine, and pentamethylated hexamethylolmelamine; and without auxiliary aminoplast former: isobutylated methylolated diallyl isobutyroguanamine; N-methoxymethyl- N'-allyl- or N', N'-diallyl-thiourea; and methoxymethyl 1-propenylethyleneurea. In Examples 11-17 the products are made into 30-40% aqueous emulsions, then made into baths using 80-120 gpl of emulsion and (i) 3 gpl of acetic acid and 6 gpl each of ZrOCI, and Na acetate, or (ii) 3 gpl acetic acid and 30 gpl of pentamethoxymethyl melamine and 3-5 gpl Zn(NO 3 ) 2 . 6H 2 O, or (iii) 40 gp1 of a 20% Zr soap emulsion, 30 gpl of dimethylol dihydroxy ethyleneurea and 2.5 gpl Zn(NO 3 ) 2 . 6H 2 O, or (iv) 40-50 gpl of 20% dibutyltin dilaurate emulsion. In Example 18 50 gpl of a product and 12 gpl of dibutyltin dilaurate are dissolved in CCl 2 =CCl 3 . The baths are used to treat textiles of cotton, polyester/cotton, polyamide/cotton, polyester and polyamide.</p>
