The automatic transmission control and throttle setting have a linkage which can absorb movements up to a set value, at which the gear change servo operates. A Bowden cable (22) has its inner attached to the throttle control and the outer secured on a housing in which a reel (40) is mounted. The inner is attached to the reel and is tensioned by a spiral spring on the reel. The outer end of the spiral spring presses on a shaft (18) which leads to the gear change control in the transmission. The throttle can thus move some way, without affecting the setting of the gear change control, until a set pressure is reached.
|
