发明名称 MEASURING METHOD OF ADHERING AMOUNT OF OIL TO FIBER
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve measuring accuracy of the adhering amount of oil by radiating a light beam including a predetermined wavelength within an absorbing band of said oil in a specific range of wavelengths to a fiber, measuring an optical attenuation of the reflecting light of said predetermined wavelength and detecting the adhering amount of said oil to said fiber on the basis of said optical attenuation. CONSTITUTION:The ratio of a component of an oil having an absorbing band in a wavelength range 2-15mum is constant to said oil. Moreover, an amount R of the reflecting light from a fiber having a predetermined wavelength in this wavelength range is highly correlated to the adhering amount of the oil. For practical measurement, it is preferable that a light having three kinds of wavelengths outside the absorbing band, namely, a comparative wavelength at a shorter side of wavelength to the predetermined one and a comparative wavelength at a longer side of wavelength is radiated below the fiber. In other words, since the light having the predetermined wavelength lambdaO is absorbed in correspondence to the adhering amount of the oil in the fiber, the adhering amount can be known by measuring the optical attenuation. Thus, the measuring accuracy of the adhering amount of oil is improved.
