<p>Surfaces such as tunnel walls and made of artificial or natural materials are joined together by liquid or semi-liquid setting material inserted into the cracks or cavities of part at least of the structure, where the structure is laid over a very porous base. Before adapting the flexible covering over the exposed surface, at least one extractor hole is bored through this part and through the underneath layer which is very porous, and in the vicinity of at least one crack or other cavities. At least one injector hole is bored through the same layer and surface at a point some distance from the crack or cavity. The edges between the covering and the structure are sealed, to make it water-tight. Air and other fluids are evacuated from the hollow part, and from every extractor hole. A setting material in liquid or semi-liquid form is inserted into each injector hole, until it emerges from the extractor hole.</p> |
