<p>The lining is used for plant pots and similar containers to reduce the effects of temperature variations on the soil inside the pot. The container may be made from plastics clay, cement etc. and its inner walls (1) are provided with a layer of insulating material such as a closed cell rigid foam plastics (2). The insulated lining is completed by coating the foam plastics with a thin film (3) of a plastics sealant, this being impermeable and wear resistant. Both layers adhere firmly to each other and to the inner surface of the pot.</p> |
