The multiple cooker, for food, consists of two hot plates located between two electrically-heated plates. The food is heated by the radiation emitted by the hot plates. The hot plates are heated both by radiation and by thermal conduction as a result of their being wholly or partly in contact with the heated plates. The hot plates (1) are corrugated. The heated plates (3) are heated by electrical resistance wire (2) seated in grooves in them.
