摘要 <p>Self cleaning homokinetic mechanisms for mixing and conveying prods. of little or medium firmness incorporates identical rotors with eccentric sections in the form of triconvec isosceles triangles bounded by circular arcs, with parallel axes of rotation, the interaxial distance between two rotors being less than or equal to the envelope radius. The rotors are driven by eccentric circular cylindrical discs which are mutually self-cleaning and which clean their sleeve. They carry driving shaft trunnions. The mechanisms are additional to those of parent patent, which are auto-scraping homokinetic polyrotor mechanisms, for mixing and conveying materials, with parallel or concurrent axes and lenticular sections bounded by two circular arcs, and characterised by the fact that at the scraping points, the surfaces in contact have no common tangent plane, so that the material is pushed by the scraping edge into the opening of its attack dihedron where it is intensively mixed. If the surfaces have a common tangent plane, the angle is zero and so is the mixing. It is therefore useful to define as well as lenticular sections with two angular peaks each, other contours, e.g. with three angular peaks. The application of the geometry to a mixer conveyor with two radial ribbons in the form of helicoidal flights gives the ribbons great rigidity. Such a mechanism, operating in continuous flow, is used for agitation and conveying in chemical reactions in viscous phases, as an evaporator, as a dryer or for mixing and volumetric dosing of powders and granular materials.</p>
