The antiskid control for a train has three slip levels. It operates with a proportionally increasing effect as the lower point is crossed and reaches maximum modulation at the upper point. A smooth braking control is thus achieved. The system is extended to incorporate the wheel spin during traction. The system copes with a wide range of rail grip conditions for maximum efficiency and safety.
