Packaging has fittings to hold several coiled springs at a set distance to each other during transport. The packaging includes at least one long extending holding link (stay2) which fits radially between the spirals (5, 5') of the coiled spring. A positive retention is provided by adjoining the holding links on both sides. The holding links form a 'U'-shaped construction section (1) and hold the springs (5) on both sides in an almost parallel position.
