A flat box-type container for a tape cassette is so designed that individual boxes may be assembled to form a stack. At top and bottom (3, 4) angular ribs (6, 7) running parallel to the upper and lower edges are provided by means of which units may be hooked together. The bases may also be provided with slots of dovetail section which engage with mating ribs on a base-plate to enable the whole to be fitted to a solid baseplate.
