The miniature voltage transformer is contained in a housing on which two secondary connection terminals are maintained is slots on a side. Between a connection terminal and transversally with respect to a line joining the two connection terminals is a gap or slot. This gap or slot extends into the housing. In the slot is maintained a branch of a short circuiting stirrup. The end of the other branch of the stirrup extends in the direction of the other connection terminal. This second branch is shifted with respect to the first so that by sliding the slot circuiting stirrup, the electrical connection is made by the stirrup between the two terminals is broken.
