A rotatable lamp housing (16) on the vehicle can selectively assume one of two angular positions and has at least three green lamps and one yellow lamp (16a-16d) on one housing side and a red lamp (16f) on the other side. A switch for the red lamp is connected to the vehicle braking system and when operated activates a current source to rotate the housing and show and activate the red light. A circuit (19, 20) for the green and yellow lights only operates when the red light circuit is off and is connected to the accelerator pedal which when depressed activates the green light and when released shows the yellow light.
