<p>Filter press of the type including filter frames slidably mounted within a frame-work and having a running filter cloth, is modified in that liq. feed pipes are provided between the frames, which pipes are supported on the pivoted link members used to separate the frames following filtration. The running of the filter cloth is not impeded since the feed pipe is disposed mid-way between the frames on their opening. In addition feed is not ejected on compressing the filter.</p> |
