Electrical connection for switch - has tag on contact member projecting into hole for lead and pressed against lead clamping screw

The electrical connection, for e.g. pushbutton switches in household appliances, is designed to prevent the contact part from becoming loose w.r.t. the internal connection parts of the appliance/switch as temperature increases. An angled tag (12) forming part of the contact (11) projects into the hole (8) in the socket (6) into which the connection wire (9) fits. The wire is pressed against the tag by a screw (7). The tag extends diametrically across the hole. The contact part may be arched in the region of the tag.
