PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of correcting a flare component with high accuracy.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus for reading an image on a first reading condition and on a second reading condition where less flare occurs than on the first reading condition includes: a reflectance allocation part for allocating reflectance from a first image in accordance with the distance between the first image and a second image which are read on the second reading condition; a color information arithmetic part for acquiring color information about the first image read on the second reading condition; a flare component derivation part for deriving a flare component of the second image on the basis of the reflectance allocated by the reflectance allocation part and the color information acquired by the color information arithmetic part; and a flare component removal part for removing the flare component of the second image read on the first reading condition on the basis of the second image read on the first reading condition and the flare component of the second image derived by the flare component derivation part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
