Novel organosilicon compounds and processes for their preparation are disclosed. The compounds are di- and trisilanes of the formula (R-Si (R1)2-G-Y-nQ in which R represents a radical containing one double ethylene bond, R1 represents a hydrocarbon radical, G represents a carbocyclic aromatic or heterocyclic radical, Y represents CONH or COO, Q represents an organic radical and n is an integer equal to 2 or 3. The compounds are useful in preparing thermoplastic elastomers. |
