<p>The invention relates to devices for communicating between a digital network and telematic equipments. It relates to a device, preferably in the form of a card to be incorporated into a microcomputer, which is comprised of a circuit (12) for interface with the digital circuit, a cofidec (14) and, directly connected to the latter, a modem component (18). The device does not include a subscriber line managing circuit which forms the largest part of the hardware elements of a conventional modem.
