Socket connection for plastics sewage pipes - has socket with internal integral saw tooth cross section sealing lips

The socket connection for sewage pipes has a smooth cylindrical tube end placed into the socket of an adjacent tube end. The insertion socket (3) and associated tube (2) are integral and made of plastics. The inner surface of the socket has circumferential integral sealing lips (4). The inside dia. of the lips is slightly smaller than the outside dia. of the cylindrical inserted tube end (6). The circular sealing lips have a saw tooth cross section inclined in the direction if insertion.
