<p>The mounting of plaques or sheet advertisement displays on pillars is effected by a range of elastic slings. The basic technique adopted is to use a sling (14) produced in an elastic material that is fixed to hooks on the rear of a plaque (10). The material is looped around the pillar (12). A variety of elastic slings are suggested for a range of plaques. The loops of the slings may run horizontally i.e. at right angles to the axis of the pillars, or they may be diagonal and crossed to give resistance to torsional displacement. The pillar (12) is of square of rectangular cross-section.</p> |
