The machine eliminates foreign bodies such as wood and stones from clay before making it into bricks. It has two motor-driven drums (1, 2) on parallel horizontal axes. The drums are almost tangential, and are spring-mounted (11) on a frame. Holes (18) are formed in them through which the material passes, and there are fixed and moving units (21, 24) transporting the material and the rejects, also means for clearing any blockage at the intake. Inside each drum there can be a plate at right angles to the axis of rotation and positioning it on its driving shaft, in two halves bolted together. One is a disc on the shaft and the other a ring on the drum. |
