Separation and isolation of substances - using gas chromatographic sepn. column and secondary ion mass spectrometer

摘要

A method of isolating and analysing substances is designed for an improvement in resolution of several orders and to provide a wider spectrum of information about the substances. The substance is first subjected to a known gas chromatographic separation method and the components of the substance placed one or more solid bodies. The areas of solid bodies contg. the components are then examined using a surface analysers method. A separation column and secondary ion mass spectrometer are used for separation and analysis respectively.
