A device relaying or indicating measurement values has a measurement transducer moving according to the measurement value which operates a switch via a magnet attached to it. The switch is in a housing isolated from the transducer. It may be applied to monitoring container fluid levels and avoids the problems of mechanical wear and short life time associated with fluid level variations when direct switch operation by the magnet is used. A ferromagnetic body in theswitch housing follows the magnet movement and is used to operate the switch. The level indicator can have a flot (11) with several arms. The float hub (111) can move up and down on a pipe (12). The inner circumference has a ring magnet (112).
