The flexible bearing for machine's subjected to vibration comprises rigid bearer parts with a rubber part between. Inside the bearing the respective parts form an air space with a capillary opening. The opening length amounts to, at most, c/fmax where c= the noise speed, and f= the extent of the frequency to be damped. The length of the capillary is normally equal to four times its dia. and is widened at its ends. An alternative arrangement has a variable dia. throttle opening (10).
