<p>The cover for the hydraulic or pneumatic caliper in a fully lined automotive disc brake uses a synthetic rubber folding bellows (14, 15). This connected to rings of the caliper and is encompassed by an angled metal sheet (16, 17). The metal sheet is fixed on to a bracing ring by rolling or pressing so that adequate clearance exists between the ring surface of the brake disc (5, 6) and rings of the branch unit. The sheet can be pushed on the projections (72, 81) of the bracing rings to transmit the operating force.</p> |
