Fuel pastes based on oxygen-contg. aliphatic cpd. - contg. inorganic oxide carrier and alkali and/or poly:amine phosphoramide

Fuel pastes with a pH of 5.5-7 comprise (a) 90-99 wt % of an O-contg. aliphatic hydrocarbon cpd. which burns odourlessly and without forming soot or dust, (b) 1-10 wt % of a carrier comprising pyrogenic silica (opt. mixed with pyrogenic TiO2 and/or Al2O3) or pyrogenic alumina with a particle size of 5-50 mu, and (c) 0.01-0.25 wt % of a long-chain polyamine amide (I) derived from phosphoric acid and/or 0.0001-0.02 wt % of an alkali metal hydroxide (II). When (I) and (II) are both present, the compsn. must also contain 0.01-3 wt % of an alkali metal silicate. The paste can be as fuels for heating or cooking, or for igniting wood or charcoal. Unlike the pastes described in DT 1796307, the present compsns. are non-corrosive.
