<p>of The Disclosure A novel method of fixing xerographic powder images by heat fusion wherein a silicone rubber coated roller with an internal heat source is used with a silicone oil on the surface thereof to fix the image without offset. The specific silicone rubber disclosed is a fumed silica-containing dimethylvinyl siloxane-dimethylpolysiloxane dispersion. Red or brown iron oxide may be added to the silicone rubber to improve roller life.</p> |
