PURPOSE:To provide an antistatic agent capable of developing sufficient antistatic property even at a low humidity condition by mixing a specific quat. ammonium salt with a specific anion surfactant. CONSTITUTION:One mole of (A) and 0.3-1.2mol of (B) are mixed wherein (A) is a quat. ammonium salt represented by the formula I (R1 is 10-30C alkyl; R2 is 1-3C short-chain alkyl, benzyl, or gp. represented by the formula II; R3, R4 are 1-3C alkyl or benzyl; and X is ion of halogen, methyl sulfate, or ethyl sulfate) and (B) is an anion surfactant selected from (a) 10-18C alkyl gp.-contg. alkylbenzene-sulfonic acid (salt), (b) 10-30C alkylbenzenesulfonic acid (salt), (c) 10-20C alkyl sulfate (salt), (d) 8-20C alkyl gp.-contg. mono- or di-alkyl phosphate (salt), and (e) dialkylsulfosuccinic acid (salt) derived from 8-22C aliph. alc. (with counter ion constituting salt being alkal metal, ammonium, or 3C or less alkylamine). |
