<p>METHOD FOR BROMINATING CINNAMALACETOPHENONE An improved method for brominating cinnamalacetophenone is characterized by the use of a saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon as the reaction medium, recycling of the reaction medium as a mother liquor, and the alternating use of stoichiometric amounts and less-than-stoichiometric amounts of bromine in the preparation of cinnamalacetophenone tetrabromide.</p> |
