PURPOSE:To make construction of a domed ceiling having smooth surface possible by closely fixing, to a spherically-shaped backing or a framework, the ceiling materials formed by cutting slices, that are made by cutting a spherical surface into round slices, into pieces equally divided in the circumferential direction. CONSTITUTION:Ceiling materials 111, 121 and 131 are made from materials such as rock wool acoustic board, fiber-reinforced plaster board or the like and by cutting slices 11, 12 and 13, made by cutting a spherical surface in round slices, into pieces equally divided in the circumferential direction. Then, to a spherically formed backing or to a domed ceiling structural framework made from assembled channel steels, the ceiling materials 111, 121 and 131 are fitted, being closely arranged, and are glued or fixed. |
