1478352 Blanks for forming bottle carriers ILLINOIS TOOL WORKS Inc 1 July 1974 [2 July 1973] 29107/74 Addition to 1408691 Heading B8C A blank of resiliently deformable plastics sheet material for forming a carrier for a plurality of bottles arranged in a row as described in the parent Specification 1,408,691 modified in that the blank comprises four panel sections 20, 22, 24, 26 connected by folds 12, 14, 16; apertures 38 being provided in the panel 24, apertures 34 being provided extending across fold line 12, and means being provided for securing the panel 20 to the panel 26 (e.g. by provision of interlocking tabs 30 and apertures 44 as shown) to form the blank into a prism such that in use the bottle necks pass first through an aperture 38 and then through the corresponding aperture 34, and are resiliently gripped beneath the bottle caps (Fig. 2, not shown) by opposing edges of the erected blank formed respectively by the edge 36 and the side 34a of the respective aperture through which the bottle neck passes. |
