An integrally molded oil boom section comprising a float hose portion 2, a fin portion 3 and a skirt portion 4, and means for connecting oil boom sections to each other. The portions 2, 3, 4 are reinforced with bias cut weave fabrics or a combination of bias cut weave fabrics and plain weave fabrics. The connecting means (not shown) for each boom section comprises a nipple inserted into the float hose portion, a pair of clamp members for holding the nipple therebetween, each clamp member having an abutment part and a projection ridge, a plate member for connection between the adjoining projection ridges of two adjacent boom sections and a rip member projecting from the abutment part of the clamp member along the oil boom. <IMAGE> |
